Family Fun - Prince Bishops Dinner Party

Sat – Sun: 10am to 4pm

Location: No. 43 – Bishop Auckland Market Place.

In No. 43, we will be hosting a “Prince Bishop’s Dinner Party, with dressing up, object handling and pineapple themed crafts. This space will also function as a breakout area for families..

Still Life

Sat – Sun: 10am to 4pm

Location: Auckland Tower

In Auckland Tower, families will have the opportunity to find out about the Still Lives in the Spanish Gallery and can have a go at both sketching a still life display and creating their own still life using our handling objects.

Weardale Train

Weardale Railway Food Festival Trains
Sat – Sun: 9am to 5pm

Location: Stanhope Station and Bishop Auckland West

Weardale Railway will operate services between Bishop Auckland and Stanhope for the first time in three years to coincide with the popular Bishop Auckland Food Festival. Trains will also call at Frosterley, Kingfisher Wolsingham and Witton le Wear. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day.

  • Kynren – get all the latest information
  • El Castillo – Paella Pop-up alongside all of the fabulous street food in the market place there will be a our own Paella stall.
