Meliz is a food content creator, best-selling author and presenter. Her first book Meliz’s Kitchen became an immediate Sunday Times Number 1 Bestseller when it was released in June 2022.
Due to her Turkish Cypriot heritage, Meliz is very passionate about developing the family recipes of her childhood which for years had only been passed down through oral tradition.
Meliz is a regular face on TV, often appearing and sharing her recipes on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ and Channel 4’s ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’.
She shares her unique and wholesome recipes on her ever-growing Instagram page ‘Meliz Cooks’, where her recipes are recreated and shared by her followers from all over the world. Meliz has gained a loyal following due to her easy-to-follow recipes, addictive combinations of flavours and spices,
highlighting the melting-pot of beautiful cuisines from across the Mediterranean, Balkans and Middle East evident in Cyprus, and her dazzling, colourful displays of food.
